Communication:

• We request that all communication is made directly to us via email at juicybowtie.music@gmail.com for inquires, referrals, cancellations, permanent changes, fees and feedback.

Cancelled Lessons & Make Up Policies:

(Please note: We understand that life can be crazy; we try to be as flexible as we can be! We have these policies in place to create consistency for both our teachers and our students.)

• We request a minimum of 24 hours notice for cancellation of a lesson. Lessons cancelled with less than 24 hour notice are considered forfeited.

• We offer one make up lesson per month, or per payment period. Make ups must be used in the current payment period, and cannot be carried over.

• Any lesson or class cancelled by the teacher will be made up without penalty to the student.

• Make up lessons will be used outside of the regular day & time agreed upon; this is an agreed upon time with both the teacher and student.

• We do not offer a make up lesson for any students that miss our group classes.

Payment Policies:

• Lesson time & day are decided upon signing up for lessons.

• Payment is available via e-transfer, cash or credit card.

• Casual lessons are available and purchased in a package. Dates must be booked in advance when purchasing this type of package. All other policies apply to this type of package.

• For cash and e-transfer: lessons are purchased on a 4 week cycle, with payment due no later than 48 hours after invoice is sent.

• Invoices will be sent one week before the end of the 4 week cycle.

• Automated credit card payments are available, please reach out for more details on our credit card billing system.

Lateness:

• If a student is more than 15-minutes late, the teacher is not obligated to continue waiting for the student and the lesson will be forfeited. However, if notice is given directly to the teacher via phone/text or email that lateness is to be expected, the teacher will wait as necessary.

• Note that the teacher may not be able to extend the lesson past the agreed upon weekly timeframe and a make up will not be provided for any missed time.

Holidays, Inclement Weather:

• Lessons with JBM will continue through holidays as normal, with the exception of Christmas (24th & 25th) Thanksgiving Sunday and New Years (31st and 1st). If a student wishes to take another holiday off, we can schedule a make up lesson without charge or penalty or adjust accordingly.

• In event that the teacher cannot make it to the agreed upon location due to inclement weather, a make up lesson will be provided.

Discontinuing Lessons:

• We require a 14 day notice of permanent termination of lessons.

Referral Program:

• We automatically offer a permanent 10% discount for new siblings!

• New referrals - we offer a 25% discount on the first or current month of lessons for both the existing student and new student. Contact us for more details!
