My name is Chris, I am a drummer and multi-instrumentalist with over 20 years of experience. I welcome students of all skill levels and ages, with interests in any genre of music. I specialize in rock, jazz, pop and technical metal but love to help students interested in all genres and forms of music.

My style of teaching is engaging and FUN! I use my personality and excitement for the craft to really draw my students in, in the most approachable way possible. It all starts with first learning the fundamentals of rhythm and how to hold a beat with confidence, and then turns into an exciting game of discovering what’s beyond the beat. I aim to give every student the ability to add their own personality to their playing in as many ways as possible and I’ve developed my own curriculum that I believe is unique to me. I use games to keep students interested and excited to get to the next step of the course! I also leave room for the student to contribute to the direction of the lesson by listening to any ideas, questions, or goals they might want to give more attention to.

I started learning music in a professional school setting at the tender age of 6, and have kept on for the next 22 years. Throughout my teenage years, I was the head drummer for various stage productions and started taking a heavy interest in the foundations of songwriting. I have since had over 15 years of experience with playing the guitar, bass, piano and writing my own musical compositions.

I have played professionally with many projects, performed at many live events and currently excel as a solo performer. I’ve released some full projects; my most recent is a full length album that is heavily piano centric, that I sang on in memory of my late mom. My partner and I started this business over the pandemic and it has since expanded to a point that we never would have believed! This small school has grown tenfold over the past few years, and my passion and dedication has only grown along side it. Bringing music to children and adults of all ages has brought me joy and fulfillment I could have never imagined. I can’t wait to bring to you the same excitement that I have!
